The episode begins with Abhira trying her best to hold it all together, but it’s clear she’s hurting inside. She turns to Akshara and breaks down, asking why life has taken so much from her — her own peace and even Shivani. Vidya steps in, trying to keep Abhira grounded. She tells her she still has a mother around, but then shifts the topic to something totally unexpected. Vidya wants Abhira to convince Armaan to rejoin the Poddar family firm.
Abhira, staying calm, says she doesn’t want to push Armaan into something he doesn’t want. But Vidya is not backing off — she thinks Armaan’s future lies in the firm, no matter what he says. Abhira insists that Armaan is already doing good in his own way, and he should be allowed to choose his own path.
Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Sanjay talks to Kaveri about the family will. He thinks it’s time to include Armaan and Abhira’s baby in it. But Kaveri completely shuts him down. But the pressure isn’t over yet. Vidya jumps back in, questioning why Armaan would throw away his talent as a lawyer. Armaan tells her he doesn’t want to work at the firm, especially not under Kaveri. He opens up about how Kaveri never respected Shivani — not even after her death. He calls her out for being selfish.
Madhav also steps in, reminding everyone that the firm once belonged to his father, not just Kaveri. Surprisingly, after hearing all this, Kaveri changes her tune. She suddenly says she wants Armaan to return to the firm. Everyone is left stunned.
