Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th April 2025 Episode Written Update: Armaan’s Unexpected Step Towards the Poddars
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the emotions ran deep as Armaan and Abhira finally returned home. Ruhi, despite her mixed feelings, thanked them for coming back and suggested they rest. She’s not just tired physically, but emotionally too. While Abhira tried to check Ruhi’s fever and calm her down, Ruhi couldn’t help but feel like their presence was only for the sake of her unborn child—not for her.
Abhira asked softly if Ruhi really believed that, but didn’t argue. She just stayed and kept looking after her, which says a lot about her character.
Meanwhile, Sanjay expressed his worries to Kaveri. He’s clearly stressed about how Armaan and Abhira might be taking over both the family firm and the house. Kaveri wasn’t having any of it though. She firmly said that Armaan would not be returning to the firm, no matter what happens.
Later, as Ruhi finally falls asleep, we see a touching moment. Armaan lies beside her, and when Ruhi reaches out for his hand in her sleep—probably thinking of Rohit—it surprises him. Abhira quietly comforts her and leaves the room with Daksh to give her peace.
Elsewhere, Abhir meets Charu and says sorry for disappearing. Turns out he was caught up with Kiara. Charu forgives him, and the two share a sweet little moment over coconut water. A shopkeeper catches sight of their hug and, being the ever-curious type, informs someone in the Goenka house. Looks like drama might be brewing there too.
Back at the Poddar house, everyone gathers for a family meal. Manisha sets a plate out, and Kaveri notices it’s for Armaan—who she refuses to accept in Rohit’s place. But Vidya puts her foot down. She insists that Armaan should sit where Rohit once did. Kaveri, of course, isn’t pleased. She thinks Vidya’s lost her mind, but Vidya reminds her Rohit also walked away from the house. So if Rohit could leave and still be remembered, why not Armaan?
The tension grows when Manisha brings up keeping plates for Shivani and Rohit. Kaveri shuts it down, saying Shivani was never part of the family. That’s when Abhira finally speaks up. She says Shivani was always treated unfairly and even in death, never got the respect she deserved. She says Rohit would’ve wanted Shivani to be remembered, and she wasn’t afraid to call out Kaveri for her harshness.
Towards the end, Abhira finds Ruhi sitting alone outside and gently asks what she’s doing there. Ruhi quietly says she’s just thinking about Rohit. That moment really hit hard—it showed just how much pain she’s still carrying. Abhira feels guilty for not being there earlier.
Meanwhile, Charu and Manoj try to talk sense into Kaveri. Without Armaan, the firm’s going downhill. But Kaveri just won’t budge. She tells them to work harder instead of expecting Armaan to come back and fix everything.
